On Fan Art

Today, I read a silly post on Tumblr about "Fan Art." it read: 

"FANART IS NOT REAL ART!!!"

Do we need to talk about the relationship between the Renaissance and the Bible?

 Needless to say, I laughed.  I'll agree that a lot of fan art cannot be sold for lots of money like a Monet, a Van Gogh, or a Matisse, but it's something done for passion for the artist to express their sentiment toward given subject.

For fan art's sake, here's something of my own.

Okay, so the latter two cannot be technically classified as "fan art," but I'm doing it right now! ;-)
